Empathic Communication Coaching
We know that being an empathic communicator is the most powerful way to show up in the world. You produce a positive frequency that translates into effective leadership, and elevate those around you. ECC is for anyone who leads or wants to lead, at any level. Common divisions we work with: leadership, government orgs, marketing, and user experience.
Empathic Communication Coaching (ecc)
The way you communicate is essentially who you are.
When working in such sensitive territory, you need a partner who knows how to create a safe and engaging space. Coaching clients often comment that the communication assessment was a surprise, and one of the most helpful tools they’ve ever received.
Drawing on knowledge from Non-Violent Communication, Jack Kornfield, Brené Brown, Inheritance Project, Dr. Shad Helmstetter and Internal Family Systems, our coaching principles and tactics are designed to be immediately applicable.

75-minute online or in-person group learning session.
Understanding our self-talk unlocks our ability to improve our overall communication skills.
Sadly, the same survival instincts that protect humans also lead to a hefty negativity bias. Most of what we say to ourselves is mean-spirited and counterproductive.
In this module we learn to do away with should’ing all over ourselves and be an empathic witness for ourselves.
We also learn to celebrate our wins by pausing to listen and learn from what goes well in our lives.
The practices in this module apply to all relationships in your life. They are human skills that will have you feeling lighter, stronger and more joyful.
75-minute online or in-person group learning session.
The beauty of this module is that it has the same impact, whether you’re in your first job or a seasoned leader.
You’ll learn verbal and non-verbal ways to carry yourself to command remote or in-person rooms. And of course, to light them up!
Key skills include non-verbal confidence, speaking tone, articulation, physical and vocal warm-ups and frequency awareness. NOTE: This module is fun, powerful and bonding when done in person. It also makes a great off-site or retreat workshop.
75-minute online or in-person group learning session.
One of the hardest things to do in work and life is to call out what you are feeling in an uncomfortable communication exchange.
It’s also a practice that garners mad respect from your colleagues and partners, if it’s done empathically.
In this module you learn to get comfortable naming what’s in the space.
“I’m noticing some tension around…,” “When X happened, I felt Y, because I needed Z.”
This is so much harder than you may think, especially at work. We all to find the words we feel comfortable using, and practice letting them spill out of our mouths.
We practice stating intentions at the outset, then time-sharing responses and learning to use the virtual talking stick.
The most critical skill in this module is active listening, where we stay present without interruption, reflect back what we heard, and ask for clarfication.
